This is a logo I designed using the Type tools in Adobe Illustrator.

urban letters - sajeda akthar

I used adobe illustrator to create these letters above. Firstly started with the letter 'b' i used the rectangle tool to create a rectangle. after i made the shape, i clicked on the shape on clicked on 'live corner widget' and pulling it gently to modified it. Then i place two circle on it,  i put the stroke up on 9pt, so it is bold around the letter.

With the letter 'a' and 'c' i just simply use the rectangle tool again and recreated both of the letter and changed the colour but with the letter 'c' i put the stroke up to 11pt to create the boldness outside the letter.

In addition, with the letters 'd' and 'e' i put patterns inside the letters. by clicking on style and choosing a patteren. i changed the colours inside by simply clicking on group selection tool and click on the pattern individual and changed the colours. where as the letter 'e' i didn't individual changed the colour, i just changed the whole colour.

 this was the house before i image traced it

this was my house after i imaged traced it.

Image Trace

             we opened a new file (a3) illustrator.

 Placed image (to trace) Image trace panel (window menu) then we preview it. Experiment with the slider. Turn off preview the trace. Then we expand (in options panel) after that we live paint object ( command + option + x) then pressed k for live bucket (drop colour) and thats how i got the image.

tower hamlets review

Today was induction day at Tower Hamlets College. I came in at 10am with my friends and a helper came up to me and ask me if i needed help. I replied with yes, she directed me where i needed to go. So i sat down for a couple of mins. A lady called out a saying ' if your tutor is Steve Butler, come and follow me'. I stood up and followed her. she took us to a classroom, where other students was already there. i took a sit at the back of the room, near the door. We done a mini ice breaker and saw the timetable for today. We left the classroom and went to a assembly, with other people who are doing media. It was about for 10mins and we got up and left the hall and went to a new room. I sat down and we went through a power point presentation and then we got our timetables and other forums. After all that we had a little tour of the college, i saw few people i know,while walking past. we went back to the room and we left for lunch. While i was waiting for my friends, a girl told she liked my hair and my eyebrows. I found my friends afterwards, we were just talking and while we was hanging out. I found loads of people from my previous school and big group of us were chilling. I was talking two new girls that i met lunch. After lunch, two of my friends, drop me back to class and now here I'm writing this.
